How to Copy Content From Websites That Block Copying

How to copy content from a website that blocks copying
Getting content that blocks copying. Not every website owner website design allows users to copy their content. So while browsing we run into very good, useful articles that we want to quote on other pages or save to our own computer.
But that is not always easy, because some site owners do not want you to copy their content. So how do you get the content anyway? Here are some simple methods that work about 90% of the time. I will cover the other 10% at the end of the article.
Also, if you need a website that blocks downloading and copying, contact MONA on our hotline 1900 636 648 or or click the consultation button below for online support.
Method 1: Save the page to your computer
Press the key combination ctrl + S and download the page, then open the saved .html file in Word and copy freely.
Method 2: Copy by printing (CTRL + P)
Press the key combination ctrl + P or click the three-dot icon at the top right of Chrome and choose in. The browser opens a print preview, and you can copy the blocked content from this screen.

CHOOSE PRINT

SELECT THE PART YOU WANT TO COPY
Method 3: Get the content by viewing the page source
You can also get the content by View Page Source. See how below.
Step 1. Right-click the page you want content from, then choose “View page source” or press the key combination ctrl + U.

Step 2. Then copy everything that appears in the window that opens.

Step 3.
- Paste it into a Notepad file
- Save it with the .html extension
- In Encoding, choose: UTF-8
- And save.

Step 4. Open the newly saved file in your web browser.

Step 5. Then copy freely.
Method 4: Turn off JavaScript in your browser
- In Chrome or CocCoc:
Step 1. Choose Customize then choose Settings.

Step 2. Choose Show advanced settings.

Step 3. Choose the content settings in the option in the Privacy section.

Step 4. In the Javascript section, choose do not allow any site to run JavaScript.

Then go back and copy as usual.
2. In Firefox.
Step 1. Open the browser and type into the address bar about:config and choose I accept the risk!

Step 2. In the search box, type javascript.enabled. and right-click, then choose Toggle to change its value from True sang False.

And go back and copy as usual.
Method 5: Use browser extensions
This is the easiest and best method. Even if none of the methods above work, this one is the simplest to do.
For Chrome or CocCoc, go to this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mona-javascript-onoff/olfaihecgdfmglkmjplkfpcdknfaonof?authuser=1
This extension turns off JavaScript automatically so you can copy easily. Follow the steps below.
Add the extension to your browser:

Then go to the site that blocks copying and click the icon Mona Javascript on/off

And now you can copy freely.
For Firefox there is an add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/vi/firefox/addon/autocopy/
Do the same as with Chrome.
Those are some basic ways to get content from sites that block copying. Some sites still won't let you take anything by any method, and even if you turn JavaScript off, the site stops working altogether. For sites like that, the best you can do is read it and retype it.
Google doesn't like sites that block copying, though, so if you are a webmaster, don't do this. If you have good content, share it with everyone.
Good luck!
