Full-service event organizing
Sài Gòn Light Event
Sài Gòn Light Event is a full-service event company in Ho Chi Minh City with more than 10 years of running groundbreaking ceremonies, openings, inaugurations, conferences and press conferences for businesses and government agencies. More than 5,000 events delivered, 15+ southern provinces, a 2,400m² equipment warehouse and 100+ in-house operations staff, with no subcontractors.
We took on the design and development of Sài Gòn Light's website: a site that works as an open capability profile. A tender reviewer can look up the equipment warehouse, team, process and a project library filtered by their own group, then send a brief right on the page.

The challenge
Their clients are government agencies and corporations, so the site has to prove, not just tell
Sài Gòn Light's client list includes the Ministry of National Defence, the Consulate General of India, Saigon Newport Corporation, Viglacera, Hưng Thịnh, Tecco, Mitsubishi Motors and VinFast. The people reviewing contractors at those organizations are not buying pretty stage photos. They ask three questions: how big is the equipment warehouse, how many staff, and have you done this exact type of ceremony before. A typical company profile page cannot answer any of them.
So we built the site as a capability profile you can open up. The capabilities page states the 2,400m² warehouse, 20 billion VND worth of equipment, 100+ staff and seven in-house operations areas, with a downloadable capability profile. The project library filters by exactly five client groups — government and the Ministry of National Defence, transport infrastructure, factories and industrial parks, education, businesses and corporations — so readers find a case like theirs instead of scrolling through everything. The brief form asks for exactly the four things the Sài Gòn Light team needs to put together a plan: event type, date, guest count and province.
A dark cinematic palette with Sài Gòn Light's red and gold keeps the feel of a company that does stage lighting. Everything is built on WordPress with a dedicated child theme so the Sài Gòn Light team can add projects and update their profile themselves.
