Besides selling materials, Cát Phương Xa takes on CNC laser cutting, drilling, bending and welding to drawings, plus powder coating.

MONA designed and developed the e-commerce website for Cát Phương Xa on WordPress. Steel buyers search by specification, not by product name, so the website shows the specification right on the card and the starting price right on the category.

The challenge

Product cards show the full specification and price per bar, categories show the starting price

Mechanics and contractors ask for steel by specification: 40×40 box steel, 1.4 mm thick, 6-meter bars, or 6 mm steel plate in 1.5 x 6 meter sheets. The Cát Phương Xa website uses that exact way of asking as the product name, so every card reads out the size, thickness, length and price straight away, such as 40x40x1.4mm square box steel, 6m bar, 185,000 VND, or 6mm steel plate, 1.5x6m sheet, 1,280,000 VND.

On the home page, the grid of key product categories shows the number of products and the starting price of each group, from box steel and cold-rolled steel to structural steel, stainless steel and steel plate. Clicking takes you to the product page filtered by category, with add-to-cart right on the card.

The CNC laser cutting service has its own page, stating a tolerance under 0.1mm, cutting thicknesses from 0.5mm to 20mm, and a quote once the customer sends the drawing via Zalo. The contact form asks which product or service the customer is interested in so the consultant calls back about the right job.
